We coach all of our kid’s sports (baseball and wrestling) and work in the real estate field buying, selling, and renting houses. We are a crazy, active family that loves adventure and time together. I am so blessed to be part of the Multimedia Academy at Serrano High School and look forward to teaching my students every day!!!"

Hunter is 24 and lives in Chicago, Tanner is 23 and is stationed in Japan with the Air Force, McKenzie is attending her 3rd year at Arkansas State, Payton is a sophomore here at Serrano, and our 5th child is Greg, is a Senior at Serrano.....we just adopted him on August 13th!! I love to go to the beach, travel, spend time with family and friends, and run!! I have been lucky enough to have traveled to some amazing places such as Africa, Germany, Mexico, Paris, London, and many US States. And although many of you probably don't like to run, that is my favorite outlet....I actually trained for, qualified, and then ran the Boston Marathon in 2019! Not an easy task. Another outlet I have is completing puzzles!! Maybe that is why I enjoy teaching math?? I am so honored to be teaching at Serrano now and to work with all of you!!"

Erica Greer
"Hello, I am Erica Greer. As the MMA media teacher, I help students realize their creative potential through photography, graphic arts, film making, and television production. I have been teaching for 10 years. Previously, I taught at Barstow High School, while the most recent years have been at Serrano. I graduated from Silver Valley HS in 1999, earned my BA from CSUSB, and my Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix. I have one husband is Landis Greer, who also teaches at Serrano, and three children; a recent Serrano grad, a Serrano senior, and a rambunctious 2nd grader. I love being a part of my students' journey towards becoming who they are meant to be! It's so rewarding to know that I can make a difference in the way they see the world. MMA is like a family and I know I can speak for the entire team when I say that we can't wait to see to meet you and see what you can do."
Karen Myers
"I am the math teacher in the MMA program. I have been a teacher at Serrano since 2002. I joined the MMA program sic years ago in 2014. I have always loved math and been fascinated with how numbers work to represent real life applications. I started tutoring as a part-time job while I was in high school. After a working in the business/accounting world for a few years, I decided to return to school and become a math teacher. My favorite subject to teach is Geometry. I enjoy camping, especially at the beach. I also love to cook."
Loren Schneider
"I really love the connection between rocks and living things, and that is what led me to earn not only a college degree in geology, and then another in biology, but then a masters degree that fuses those 2 concepts together, which is paleoecology. And so it is no surprise that I find myself teaching MMA Biology and MMA Geology, not only because of those two exciting topics but also because MMA students and teachers are great people who I enjoy being with tremendously. When I'm not teaching, I often find myself hiking through mountains, wondering about the trillions of events that led to the natural ecology that I love so much. I like to travel, and hope to someday experience the south pole in Antarctica."

I have worked here at Serrano in various roles for the past 16 years, but I truly enjoy teaching Multi-media academy history this year. The program is awesome and I have enjoyed getting to know the teachers and the students within our MMA community."
